GoTu Professionals Hub
PROBLEM & OBJECTIVES

We previously introduced a feature allowing offices to add preferred professionals to a "Favorites List" for quick access to those they enjoyed working with. This feature offered key benefits, such as allowing offices to send direct invites to these professionals for unfilled shifts. When a professional accepted, they were automatically confirmed, streamlining the booking process. However, the feature was underutilized because the Favorites List was tucked away in the Account menu, causing many offices to either forget about it or neglect to add more favorites over time, diminishing its potential impact.
Our current goal is to make it easier for offices to reconnect with professionals they know and trust, while also adding value for newer offices that lack an established network of favorites. The redesigned feature will reduce negative experiences and the trial-and-error process with new professionals, while promoting greater adoption of the Favorites List—an action proven to boost revenue for GoTu when actively used.

The only direct function available from the Favorites List itself was the ability to remove professionals. The other key features of this list were scattered throughout the product. Offices could send requests to their favorite professionals for unfilled shifts, but this had to be done either from the Schedule > Open Shifts section or by navigating to the Shift Details screen after posting a new shift.
After a lot of research, the solutions we decided to move forward with were:
1. Introduce a "Recent Professionals" group to give newer offices, who haven’t yet built up their Favorites List, better access to professionals they’ve recently worked with.
2. Create a centralized and more accessible section called "Professionals Hub" within the website and app.
3. Enhance the Hub with additional features, making it more attractive for offices to revisit and regularly check this section.
Additionally, we included a "View Invites" section in the Hub where offices could track the status of invites sent to professionals, with statuses like Pending, Declined, and Withdrawn. "Confirmed" was excluded from this list since confirmed professionals would automatically move to the Scheduled section.
Offices can now send invites or remove professionals directly from their Favorites List, and for Recent Professionals, they can send invites, add them to favorites, or block them to remove them from the list. We also introduced a "View Invites" page, allowing offices to easily check the status of their invites, sorted by shift date. Additionally, offices can now select a professional and invite them to multiple unfilled shifts at once, further streamlining the process.
I adapted all of these functions in the Mobile App to ensure a consistent user experience across platforms.
